hello my dear ones. I know it’s been ages and I am a terrible web-host. I had meant to write about a month ago on my sadness at Reese and Ryan’s divorce. I saw this coming as soon as she got her oscar in the spring. If I was a newspaper columnist I would have dedicated a whole column to the plight of successful women in Hollywood. Let’s take a look Reese and Ryan, Hillary and Chad, Jennifer Garner’s first marriage to Scott Foley… the list goes on. Couples who start out together with both parties at levels of modest success or the man is slightly more successful and they are so cute and happy and then the women shoots forward and soon afterward there is divorce??!!?? Is this what it boils down to? We can be successful or we can have happy marriages? That is quite a predicament.

I now have a subscription to New York Magazine and Time magazine and know more about US politics than I ever thought I would want to. Seriously who the hell is Barack Obama and where did he come from so quickly? And I am totally captivated by Nancy Pelosi. Barbara Walters was right on the money by calling her the most fascinating person of 2006.
